work for the socio- economic and political welfare of
all fish workers including those workers engaged in marketing
and distribution, both in the marine and inland sectors;
- To
provide legal aid to ensure the rights of fish workers;

work for fully accessing the benefits of the rights and
grants that the fish workers are entitled to;

To
work towards healthier employee/ employer realtionships
and to mediate and help to find solutions in times of
conflict with employers;
- To
work towards the conservation of marine resources and the
prevention of pollution in water bodies.

- Membership subscription

- Funds raised through cultural programmes
